Practice Data is great for getting to grips with Sage Accounts before you move on to real data because any mistakes you make don't affect your live company. Unlike Demo Data, Practice Data has no existing information so you can see exactly how the information you enter appears throughout the software.
When you open your software, you have a choice of companies. One of the choices is Practice Data, which you can use to open a blank company so you can practice using Sage.
To access Practice Data, when you open the software, double-click it from the Select Company window. Alternatively, browse to File > Open > Open Demo Data.
Tip: If your software prompts you to log in, enter the logon manager > OK.
Once you gain confidence in a particular feature of the software, to use it on your live company data:
If you return to the practice company, there are two options:
| Start again | Delete all your previously created data and settings. |
| Continue with last practice | Choose the types of data to retain or reset. |
